About: IF4ES

This saint doing everyday things @ work.

I am a Christian, an everyday saint, Merton, ie. Mert, Joseph Hershberger who loves others of all nations because I am loved by Jesus.  I am a poetic-peasant-preacher and work with people for a local government agency serving those with chronic mental & physical health conditions.

Here I share reflections on my adventures so that others will venture forth as well to make disciples and be discipled.

What is IF4ES?

International Fellowship for Everyday Saints

Intermittent Fools for the Everlasting Savior

Instituting Freedom for Enduring Studies

Initiating Friendships for Emotional Stability

The church I participate in is pastored by Jesus and meets in groups from two or three to 100,000+ strong. Jesus is the Man; I am but a minister. He is the Sovereign; I am his slave. He is the Savior; I am a sinner saved by His grace. The Creator God is our Father; I am but a son untimely born. The Holy Spirit is my Comforter, and I am at peace with Him.

If you need to contact me about how to follow Jesus or anything else, you may email me @ mertaka@everybody.org. I currently live in Washtenaw County (Pronounced WASHED-in-awe). Snail mail may be sent to me at P.O. Box 981215, Ypsilanti, MI, 48198, USA.

My favorite verse is Psalm 2:8: Ask me and I will make the nations your inheritance and the ends of the earth your possession.

My life motto is: The whole Church sharing the Whole Christ from the Holy Bible with the whole person of every person of every people of every languages in all lands for all time with all boldness with a focus on the least, the lost, and the lost.

So, who are you? What is your vision? Would you like to learn more about my ministry? Fill out the contact form.
